“What is meant for you will find a way to you…”

Updated: Mar 30, 2023

What is meant to be will find a way. I don't know about you, but the older I get the more I see this truth. Is it a hard truth to accept? YES! Our selfishness and desire for control gets in the way of accepting what will be and what actually happens. I know my abilities and desires can be over the top sometimes, but I do hold on to the belief that if it's meant to be it will find its way to me no matter what obstacle gets in the way. You hear or see these kinds of quotes often on social media, and they sound so cliche until you live it out in your own life.

Many times I personally have had dreams or goals that seemed impossible until they happened, and I have watched anxiously and prayerfully for God to answer many prayers. He is always on time to answer those, even though sometimes it is not how I think He will answer. I struggle with my own selfishness and get frustrated and impatient in the waiting seasons like I’m sure everyone can. I take comfort now in knowing and believing He will come through for me, it just might be in a way I didn't see coming or expect. His timing is always PERFECT.

Many times I have endured emotional turmoil in the waiting and watching of God's plan unfolding in my life, and I am sure many can relate. Things that help me most now at 50 years old are my experiences where God did the unexpected and helped me when I wasn’t aware I even needed it. He flipped the script that I had in mind of how my life should play out, and for that I am so thankful. For instance, when He took a confused and frustrated family and gave them hope to keep going. He gave that family a new place that proved to be a step forward that would change everything for the better. I have seen Him resurrect a career that many people thought was over. I have walked with a beautiful girl who was devastated and struggling to make sense of life, and He picked her up and transplanted her into an environment where she thrived and accomplished things that could and would not have happened to her if He did not move her (literally.) Let’s not forget the biggest test of a medical diagnosis that was meant to stop someone in their tracks, and that person beat the odds and goes on to graduate college and start a new career without missing a beat in her life.

Looking back at these instances is mind blowing to me sometimes, but then I am reminded “If it is meant for you no man can stop it,” because God has a plan and purpose for all of us. People on this earth can create obstacles in your life but God will deal with those people and their obstacles and work it out for your good. I know this is true because my family is that family I spoke of above. The resurrected career is my incredible husband’s and those girls are my precious daughters. Nothing like living with and being able to love the miracles you write about. There is no greater truth than telling the news of how God makes sure you live out your purpose, and can guide you right to where you are meant to be and No man can stop it.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
